Fire or Apron?

I am working on my Master’s Degree in Family Studies from Texas Womans University and this semester I happen to be taking a class called Gender Roles.  What is more central and traditional to the female gender role than cooking, right?  So I am merging these two topics for at least the next few months: my love for cooking and trying new foods as well as the roles we occupy depending on what sex we were born.
